PURPOSE:To design an image processor independently of the number of picture element in an input device or an output device by adding picture element number correcting means to an I/O type device. CONSTITUTION:An image is inputted to 'area 1' in an image memory by an input means 11. The size of an image to be practically obtain is defined as 'area 2'. When 'area 1' and 'area 2' are specified in respective picture element number correcting means 112, 131, the image inputted to the 'area 1' is corrected to the size of the 'area 2'. The 'area 1' and 'area 2' are inputted to respective means 112, 131. The input processing of 'area' is executed by specifying the X and Y coordinates of a start point S and an end point E. If a part larger than the 'area 1' exists in 'area 2', the part is cleared. Consequently, an image necessary for the 'area 2' can be obtained. |
