PURPOSE:To restrain a nonwoven fabric from separating up and to obtain a stable and good output independent of the inclination of a pad plate by forming an uncut part of the pad into a taper structure or spherical shape and forming also at least one end of the pad plate end parts situated in the direction of a disk circumference into a taper state. CONSTITUTION:In order to keep good recording and reproducing characteristics even when a head is moved in the radial direction of the disk to select a track, the uncut part 3a of a groove 3b is provided on the part facing the outermost radius of the disk. Then, the other uncut part 3d is provided also on the part at the side facing the inner circumference of the disk in order to suppress an output deterioration due to height variations in the normal direction of the disk. In addition, taper parts 3e and 3f are provided toward the center of the groove 3b from the uncut parts 3a and 3d respectively. Consequently, the pad 3 and nonwoven fabric 5 are pressed by a rubber substance 6 so that the taper parts 3e and 3f are allowed to be pressed by the rubber substance 6, and then nonwoven fabrics 5d and 5e are kept uniform, thus ensuring their flatness to be possible to stick firmly to the taper parts 3e and 3f. By this method, the deterioration of the output can thus be evaded.
