摘要 PURPOSE:To depress the dissolution phenomenon between a permanent magnetic alloy and a heat treatment container and to obtain a permanent magnet having increased coercive force, by forming specific rare earth oxide film layers onto the interior of the container, disposing the green compact or sintered compact of said alloy having specific compsns. into said container and subjecting the alloy to a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:The alloy having the compsn. R(T1-yMy)z is made to the mate rial for the permanent magnet. In the formula, R denotes rare earth metals consisting essentially of Nd and Pr, T denotes transition metals consisting essentially of Fe and Co, M denotes metalloid elements and the values of 0.01<=y<=0.15, 4<=z<=8 are furthermore regulated. On the other hand, the rare earth oxide film layers of Dy2O3 and Tb4O7 are formed onto the interior of the heat treatment container. The green compact or sintered compact formed from the material alloy are disposed into the container and are subjected to the heat treatment to obtain the desired permanent magnet. By this method, the permanent magnet having no molten adhesion or sticking between the perma nent magnet and the case at the time of sintering and having magnetic characteristics such as the increased coercive force can be obtd.
