PURPOSE:To prevent the permanent deformation and breakage of a damping valve by making the inner peripheral end of said damping valve float up from a seat face when the flow rate of a working fluid becomes above the deflection limit of said damping valve, in a hydraulic buffer made of an annular leaf valve. CONSTITUTION:When the inside of an oil chamber A is on a high pressure side, a working fluid into a port 3a while also flowing into an oil chamber B on the pressure side by deflecting the outer peripheral end of a damping valve 4. In this case, when the flow rate of the working fluid is within the range of the set outer periphery deflecting quantity of the valve 4, the inner peripheral end of the valve 4 is left seated on the annular seat face 3c of a valve seat member 3 and the valve 4 is fixed with its inner peripheral end being fixed. However, when the flow rate of the working fluid is above the outer peripheral end deflecting quantity of the valve 4, the inner peripheral end of the valve 4 is made slide overcoming the energizing force of a spring 8 and separated off of the seat face 3c. In this case, a large gap is formed in between the valve 4 and the valve seat member 3 and the working fluid into the oil chamber B via this gap. |
