PURPOSE:To prevent limitation of an space area in a car room, by a method wherein a recessed part is formed throughout a whole ranging from the rear edge part to the side edge parts on both sides of a root panel, and ducts for air conditioning, interconnected on the whole, are disposed in the recessed part. CONSTITUTION:For example, a rear edge part 2A of a roof panel 1 is bent in a crank shape in cross section, a recessed part 3A is formed in an upper surface part, and a rain roof part 9 in an U-shape in cross section is formed in a rear end part. The rear edge part 2A is secured to a rear header 7, and the under surface side of the roof panel 1 is covered with a top trim 8 for securing. A duct 4A for air conditioning is installed in the recessed part 3A, and an air conditioning unit 12 is disposed in a large closed space 10A extending in the direction of the width of a car. An open air intake port 13, and inner air intake port 16, positioned facing each of openings 14 and 15 of a top trim 8 and the roof panel 1, respectively, are respectively formed in the duct 4A for air conditioning. |
