PURPOSE:To permit the duty control for the ignition with the optimum ignition energy corresponding to the engine revolution by carrying out the proper advance angle control corresponding to the engine revolution with a sufficient control range, in a three-pulse control system. CONSTITUTION:In a constant current charging circuit 9, a time constant selecting circuit 16 for selecting the time constant in the charge at the time point when charge to a certain level is performed, comparator 20 which compares the first triangular wave signal S1' and the signal S3' which is obtained by applying a certain bias onto the third triangular wave signals S3 and turns On a flip flop 21 and a comparator 19 which compares the first triangular wave signal S1' and the signal S2' which is obtained by applying a certain bias onto the second triangular wave signal S2 and turns OFF the flip flop 21 are provided. A three-pulse control system between the pulse signals P1, P2, and P3 is obtained. Therefore, the proper advance angle control corresponding to the engine revolution is permitted, and the duty control for the engine ignition with the optimum ignition energy corresponding to the engine revolution can be obtained.
