PURPOSE:To reduce memory capacity in a data processing part and to rapidly form a working program by automatically teaching working line coordinates and thinning obtained measuring point data. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a copying measurement and arithmetic means 40 for outputting a singular line position coordinate signal C based on a height detecting signal H and a singular line detecting signal D from a sensor head 20 and a position detecting signal from a working machine body 10 and a data processing part 50 for outputting a working program R for working a work based on a singular line position coordinate signal C and the data processing part 50 is provided with a thinning processing means for thinning measuring point data in the signal C in accordance with the curvature of the singular line T. Consequently, the sensor head 20 automatically tracks the singular line T on a working line, the part 40 outputs the signal C based on the detected signals D, H and the signal L outputted from the machine body 10 and the processing part 50 thins the measuring point data in the signal C to form a working program.
