PURPOSE:To easily set a tape, by providing a lead tape on whose tip an engaging part is provided on a take-up reel, providing a connecting part on the tip of the tape wound across the reel mounted on a cassette case attachably/ detachably freely, and setting them in such a way that they can be engaged and disengaged freely with the engaging part. CONSTITUTION:The lead tape 34 on whose tip the engaging part 35 is provided is provided on the take-up reel 27, and the connecting part 21 is provided on the tip of the tape wound across the reel 14 mounted attachably/detachably freely on the cassette case 1, and they are mounted on the engaging part 35 in such a way that they can be engaged and disengaged freely. Thereby, only by inserting and mounting a small case into the cassette case 1 or a cassette tape recorder, the lead tape wound across the take-up reel 27 is engaged with a guide tape 20 being linked to a magnetic tape 16 stored in the case, and the magnetic tape 16 is wound across the take-up reel 27 automatically by the driving of a driving shaft. In such a way, it is possible to mount and dismount the magnetic tape 16 on the cassette tape easily.
