PURPOSE:To improve the controllability of the compressor in the caption by shifting the center of a coil portion in the direction reverse to the deforming direction of a twisted coil spring when a control member is at a position to make the opening angle of a bypass port widest. CONSTITUTION:A control member 24 is urged by a twisted coil spring 32 in a direction to make an opening angle of a bypass port 23 widen. When the control member 24 is at the position to make the opening angle widest and no load is applied to the twisted coil spring 32, the center of a coil portion 32a is shifted a predetermined distance from the center of the shaft 'a' of a boss portion in the direction reverse to its deforming direction. Therefore, the timing of the coil portion to make contact with the other member is delayed to reduce contact resistance to the other member.
