PURPOSE:To easily and accurately set the position of a fine connecting point, by displaying the change of a sound level on an image monitor. CONSTITUTION:A buffer register 3 constructs a maximum level detecting means which detects the maximum level of a bit of sound information at a prescribed section with a comparator 4 and a register 5. And the maximum level at every prescribed section of a digital sound data is detected, and the change due to the lapse of time of the maximum level is displayed as an image. Consequently, just the same display as that of the envelope of a voice signal is performed, and by stopping the movement of the change at an arbitrary moment, it is possible to easily and accurately supervise the sound level. In such a way, it is possible to set an editing point easily observing the image representing the change of the maximum level whose movement is stopped. |
