PURPOSE:To enable the sufficient pressure to a brake operation device to be supplied even when a pumping brake is applied by checking the transmission of intermittent command to a valve device which is capable of interrupting the communication between a brake pressure generator and the brake operation device, when the release of a brake is detected. CONSTITUTION:With a motorcycle operated, a judgement is formed on the rotating condition of wheels by a judgement device 12, to which the output from each of wheel speed sensors 14 and 16 for front and rear wheels is inputted through each of wheel speed detection sensor 18 and 20, thereby controlling a valve device 38 via valve driving circuits 22 and 24 wherein the switching can be effected among a stemming position a, a holding position B and a loosening position C which communicate a master cylinder 40 with a wheel cylinder 42. And in this case, when a intermittent command which enables alternative switching between the B and A positions is developed from intermittent command generating devices 13a and 13b, it is so constituted that the transmission of the intermittent command to valve devices 22 and 24 is checked by enforcement devices 34 and 36 upon detecting a brake release on the part of detectors 54 and 56.
