摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to get high reduction gear ratio, by increasing or decreasing the number of teeth of a profile shifted spur gear wheel compared with the number of teeth of spur gear wheel, in reduction mechanism, for making it possible to change the output rotation direction as being the same with the input rotating direction, or being opposite to it. CONSTITUTION:This reduction mechanism is constituted by setting a profile shifted spur gear wheel 2, which is the same with a spur gear wheel 1 in its outside diameter and not the same in number of its teeth, in parallel with the spur gear wheel 1, and setting a spur gear wheel 3 which is engaged with said two gear wheels 1, 2 at the same time, and turns round on its own axis axis as revolving on the outer circumference of the gear wheels 1, 2. As the spur gear wheel 3 is engaged with both of the spur gear wheel 1 and the profile shifted spur gear wheel 2, which are different from each other in number of their teeth, the shifted spur gear wheel 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow for compensating the positional discrepancy of the teeth, when the spur gear wheel 3 is revolved on the outer circumference of the spur gear wheel 1. Then high reduction gear ration can be obtained by inputting the revolving speed of the spur gear wheel 3, and outputting the rotating speed of the profile profile shifted spur wheel 2.
