PURPOSE:To classify and judge an erroneous connection and a faulty connection when an abnormality occurs and to execute the test to respective connecting channels of an exchange in further details without fail by setting an incoming terminal discrimination number to specify respective incoming terminals at every originating circuits. CONSTITUTION:In a pseudo call testing device 12, the incoming terminal discrimination number specifying respective incoming terminals 14 for respective outgoing circuits 17 connected to respective originating terminals 13 is stored in a storing part 28. When the originating terminals 13 and the designated incoming terminals 14 are connected through the connecting channel of an exchange 15 to be tested, in response to the pseudo call sent from the originating circuits 17, a synthesizing signal showing the incoming terminal discrimination number specified univocally in correspondence to the incoming terminal is outputted from a signal output circuit 26 through the incoming terminals 14 and transmitted through a connecting channel to the outgoing terminals 13. When the incoming terminal discrimination number of the synthesizing signal inputted from the outgoing terminals 13 is coincident with the incoming terminal discrimination number of the outgoing circuit which is stored in the storing part 28, it is judged that the outgoing terminals 13 and the incoming terminals 14 are normally connecting by respective connecting channels of the exchange.
