PURPOSE:To reduce an electromagnetic noise without transmitting the vibration of a stator core directly to a frame by separating a supporting plate interposed between the frame and a stator core for supporting the core from a frame side plate. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 2 in a frame 1 of a rotary electric machine is held from both sides by a stator clamper 4. The clamper 4 is secured by a stator supporting plate 6 to the frame 1. A gap (a) is formed between the plate 6 and the side plate 1a of the frame 1. Thus, it can prevent the vibration of the core 2 from being transmitted directly to the frame 1, thereby preventing an electromagnetic noise.
