PURPOSE:To obtain an endless belt excellent in cylindricity by laterally supporting the driving and stretching rolls of a stretch-forming device with the aids of two sets of bearings in respective housings, and stretching endless belts around both ends of respective rolls, to compensate the deflections of housings and bearings with each other by both ends. CONSTITUTION:Endless belts B, B are stretch-formed by stretching them around respective belt-wrapping parts 14, 15 of driving and stretching rolls 1, 2. At that time, stretching forces of the same magnitude act on both ends of each of rolls 1, 2 to compensate the deflections of bearings 4, 6 and housings 3, 5 with each other by both sides. Because of the lateral installations of rolls 1, 2, the roll 2 can be stretched in the horizontal plane opposite to a sliding surface 16, and the deflection of a slider 11 is reduced. Further, the endless belts B, B at both sides can be attached and detached by only loosening the roll 2. |
