<p>PURPOSE:To make the constitution of hardware into the scale which does not come to be practically a problem and to improve the reliability at the time of an expanding processing by providing a difference device, a forecasting value generating means, a compressing code table, an identification code adding means, etc. CONSTITUTION:For the image date inputted to a difference device 4, at the time of the compressing processing of image data, a difference value is obtained by a subtracting processing between the picture element value of the picture element to be compressed and a forecasting value from a forecasting value generating means 3. The result is sent to a compressing code table 5 and other code processing means 6, a Huffman code, etc., are assigned in accordance with the inputted difference value, sent to an identification code adding means 7, and the means 7 adds line identification data to the end of the compressing image data of respective lines in accordance with the number of elements for one line set beforehand. At the time of the expanding processing the line is discriminated by an identification code discriminating means and based on the result, the expanding processing of the compressing image data is executed without trouble. Thus, the constitution of hardware is made into the scope which is not practically a problem and the reliability of the expanding processing can be improved.</p> |
