PURPOSE:To start respective robot optionally for plural work pieces by storing plural programs for the respective work pieces, and making the robot work by means of selecting a starting switch, assigned so as to correspond to the program. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a teaching, a control part 2 operates a facility part 4 through a servo control circuit 3 by a command from a control panel 8. This operation is detected by an operation quantity detector in the facility part 4, and fed back to the control part 2 as a feed back signal. The control part 2 too counts this signal, and sends it to a data storing part 5 together with an address signal, and stores them. Besides, the address signal and a starting switch number, corresponding to it, are written in a start assignment circuit 6. At the time of a play back, when one of the starting switches S1-Sn is pushed, its signal is supplied to the circuit 6 through the control part 2. The circuit 6 sends the address signal, corresponding to the command switch, to the storing part 5, and the storing part 5 sends the program data of said address to the control part 2 so as to operate the circuit 3 and to drive the facility part 4.
