PURPOSE:To protect the surface of a machine from stains and to prevent it from dusts and scratches during transportation, etc., by protecting the surface of the machine with protecting film formed by coating a chemical coating agent on the surface of the machine such as control board, etc., and forming the protecting film by under-curing the coated chemical coating agent. CONSTITUTION:A chemical coating agent 10 contg. for example, ester, toluene, carbon black, etc., is coated on the surface of a machine such as control board 1, etc., to form at the same time a protecting film generated by the under-curing of the coated chemical coating agent 10 on the coated surface, thus the surface of the machine is protected by the protecting film. As a result, generation of stains or scratches on the surface of the machine during transportation is prevented, and labors and cost for construction are saved by unnecessitating all-out repair of the machine surface after installation or repainting work. Moreover, a term for construction work of an atomic power plant, etc., is shortened.
