PURPOSE:To automatically estimate which part to correct among generation conditions by inputting the generation conditions to a condition transfer device, outputting the generated documents to a display device and inputting the corrected part to a correction device. CONSTITUTION:The documents which a character string selection/edition device 7 has generated are displayed on the display of a document display device 10. A user shifts a carsor to the part to be corrected by a correction instruction input device 12 and an analysis device 11, and transfers a correction character string to a character string condition correspondence device 8. It is assumed that third column and sixth line are designated. The device 8 selects numbers which include '3' and '6' in a range shown at the start and at the end and whose range is the smallest among character string classification numbers and the character string numbers of a position correspondence table stored in a character string condition correspondence device 9. The generation condition used for selecting the character string is obtained from the character string classification numbers and generation condition correspondence table stored in the device 9, is displayed in a display and is transferred to the condition transfer device 6, whereby it is outputted as the condition to be corrected.
