PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inclusion complex having improved water solubil ity of vasodilator for coronary artery, by including a slightly soluble dihydropyridine compound useful as the vasodilator in hydroxypropylcyclo dextrin. CONSTITUTION:A slightly soluble dihydropyridine compound such as nimodipine useful as a hypotensor and improver for disorders of cerebral circulation besides vasodilator for coronary artery is included in hydroxypropylcyclodextrin to form a stable dihydropyridine-hydroxypropylcyclodextrin inclusion compound, water solubility of the drugs is improved, the druge are made readily absorbable, bioavailability is raised and the inclusion complex can be pharmaceutically manufactured into an injection. The inclusion complex has extremely higher solubility than inclusion compound with cyclodextrin and preparations containing the drugs having not only excellent bioavailability but also stability and low hemolysis can be produced.
