发明名称 ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ITEM MADE THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain excellent stability with time and fabrication property by a method wherein pellet-shaped master pellets, each of which is produced by coveringly and integrally forming a thermoplastic resin layer on the surface of electrically conductive filler consisting of electrically conductive fibers, low melting metal and flux, are blended with thermoplastic resin pellets. CONSTITUTION:Master pellets are produced by coveringly forming a thermoplastic resin layer on the surface of electrically conductive filler, which is formed by gathering longer electrically conductive fibers and flux-containing low melting metal and extruded through the die of an extruder together with thermoplastic resin, and, after that, by cutting the resultant electrically conductive filler covered by the thermoplastic layer into pellets. An electrically conductive resin composition is prepared by blending natural pellets consisting of thermoplastic resin only with the master pellets. The kind and amount of thermoplastic resin as the natural pellets to blend are properly selected in accordance with the characteristics requested by the electrically conductive resin composition and a molded item to be obtained. Since the junction points between the electrically conductive filler are fusingly joined without separation by the low melting metal, no deterioration in electric conductivity occurs even under high temperature environment.
