PURPOSE:To reduce the pressure drop in a permeated water passage without deteriorating the pressure withstanding property, by arranging units each obtained by bundling plural squeeze-resistant warps in parallel and apart from each other, extending the units in the flow direction of permeated water, weaving the unit with a thin woof, tying the unit to obtain a permeated water passage member, and using the member. CONSTITUTION:The warps each consisting of a thick core yarn 13 and a side yarn 14 and having squeeze resistance are bundled to form one unit 12. The units 12 are arranged in parallel and apart from each other, and each unit 12 is woven by a woof 15 thinner than the warp and tied so that each unit 12 is not collapsed. The permeated water passage member 4 is placed between semipermeable membranes 2 and 3 so that the warp is extended in the flow direction of the permeated water. Under such constitution, a straight permeated water passage is formed between the units 12 and in the gap in each unit 12. Since the woof 15 orthogonal to the straight passage is thin, the flow resistance to permeated water is reduced.
