摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy and efficiency of correction work, by a method wherein correction quantity is calculated from the angle of inclination of a light source vehicle at the stop position thereof and the angle of inclination of a front reference part at the stop position in an operation part and a servo motor is controlled to allow the photodetector of the front reference part to rise and fall by the correction quantity. CONSTITUTION:When the canting of a light source vehicle at the stop position thereof is set to a canting setting device 31, the angle theta of inclination of the light source vehicle corre sponding to the canting is outputted to an operation part 25 from the setting device 31. In the front reference part of the track correcting machine main body present at a track correcting position the canting of that point is detected by a level 20 and the angle theta' of inclination of the front reference part corresponding to said canting is outputted to the opera tion part 25. Correction quantity lambda is operated from these angles theta, theta' according to formula I in the operation part 25 and, on the basis of the output corresponding to the correction quantity lambda, the servo motor 27 of the motor controlling servo amplifier 26 of a motor control ler 33 for allowing a photodetector to rise and fall is controlled and the photodetector of the front reference part is allowed to rise and fall by the correction quantity lambda. This rising and falling quantity and the number of rotations of the motor are fed back to the amplifier 26 and the photodetector is allowed to accurately rise and fall by the correction quantity lambda.
