PURPOSE:To smoothly deliver and stably feed bills by retreating a backup plate located at the opposite side to the bill extracting port of a storage section and storing bills from the rear end side of stored bills. CONSTITUTION:A backup plate 8 located at the opposite side to the bill extracting port 7a of a storage section 7 is retreated and locked by a lock plate 10, and bills 9 are stored from the rear end bill 9a side. Thereby, the bills 9 located at the bill extracting port 7a side of the storage section 7 and partially coupled with a feed-out roller L1 serve no hindrance to the storage, and the bills 9 can be smoothly delivered. In addition, a presser plate 15 is put to the rear end bill 9a to partition with the backup plate 8, and bills 9 are stored, thus the attitude of the inserted bills 9 is restricted to eliminate the disturbance of the storage attitude, and the bills 9 can be stably fed.
