PURPOSE:To confirm whether an error is generated through consecutive operations by decoding an unexceptional and an exceptional status signals by a decoder, and storing whether the error has been generated from the output of the exceptional status signal. CONSTITUTION:An operating part 1 performs the consecutive operations, consisting of an arithmetic operation or a relational/logical operation, under a microprogram control. It outputs the result of the relational/logical operation among these as the unexceptional status signal, and outputs the generation of the error in either the arithmetic operation or the relational/logical operation, as the exceptional status signal. The decoder 2 decodes the unexceptional and the exceptional status signals, and a selector 4 selects the designated output among the outputs of the decoder 2. A program controlling part 5 performs a control, corresponding to the output of the selector 4, and an error storing part 3 stores the generation of the error till the finish of the consecutive operations, when the error is present about the output of the decoder, corresponding to the exceptional status signal. |
