PURPOSE:To improve a heat resistance aging property by using a specific ethylene-polypropylene rubber composition as an adhesive rubber in a heat resistant ethylene-propylene rubber conveyor belt in which galvanized steel cords are used as a core body. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive rubber for bonding a cover rubber which consists of a galvanized steel cord core body and an ethylene-propylene rubber composition is formed by using an ethylene-propylene rubber consisting of, e.g., a 10-90 wt% EPM and a 9-10 wt% EPDM, an organic peroxide as a cross-linking agent and, e.g., an ethylene glycol dimetacrylate as an assistant cross-linking agent, and an organic cobalt, e.g., a cobalt naphthenate as an adhesive and a vulcanized rubber consisting of sulfur or a sulfur containing compound as an assistant adhesive. By this structure, adhesive strength to steel cords can be increased while improving a heat resistance aging property.
