PURPOSE:To achieve high speed operation without performing wasteful measurement, by providing a means for altering the specific item, which is necessary for re-examination because of the abnormality of measured data and judged to be not transferred to the next item through the comparison with judge data, in a plurality of measuring items. CONSTITUTION:A reagent is added to a specimen through a measuring procedure part 2 according to each of measuring items such as six channels (ch) set by an item setting part 1 and the reaction liquid of said specimen is optically analyzed. The measuring result shown by % is stored in a measured data memory part 6 through a judge part 3 and, when said result satisfies the condition value 1ch+2ch+3ch>=100% of a judge data holding part 4, an item altering part 5 alters the measuring item on the basis of the judge result through the judge part 3 so as not to carry out the measuring items of related channels such as 4ch-6ch on and after main channels up to 3ch. As a result, high speed operation can be performed without performing wasteful measurement.
