PURPOSE:To increase the filtrating area and to make the filter device compact, by disposing the plural disk filters keeping small clearances on the inner and the outer peripheral parts not only in axial direction but also plurally in radial direction. CONSTITUTION:A stack of outer peripheral weir type filter 5 (or a stack of inner peripheral weir type filter 4) is made in such a way that plural elastic annular weir plates having the same dimension projectingly provided with an annular weir plate of the same height which is provided with specified shallow radial grooves on the end surface along the outer periphery (or the inner periphery) and is provided with plural through holes along the inner periphery (or the outer periphery), are coaxially stacked alternatively with spacers 6, 7 the inner (or outer) periphery of which are almost the same with that of the weir plate and the height of which is a little larger than that of the weir plate. A casing 13 receives above-mentioned filter stacks and introduces a liquid through above-mentioned grooves. And, a pumping means 25 pressurizes the outer periphery (or the inner periphery) of the filter stack in axial direction.
