COMBUSTION METHOD FOR PREMIXTURE GAS

PURPOSE:To provide stable combustion within a wide operating condition range in a method for burning premixture gas in an industrial heating furnace and the like by a method wherein a planar burner is formed by a burner plate having through-pass holes with a diameter less than a flame diminishing diameter and a net member and an injecting speed at the through-pass hole is set to a desired times of a combustion speed of the premixture gas. CONSTITUTION:A planar burner 20 is formed by a burner plate 11 having several through-pass holes 12 having a hole diameter less than a flame diminishing diameter and a net member 21 having a rate of opening higher than that of the burner plate 11 in contact with the downstream surface of the burner plate 11. The premixture gas is supplied in such a way as an injecting speed of the premixture gas at the through-pass hole 12 is 2.5-40 times of a combustion speed of the premixture gas. With this arrangement, a stable premixture combustion can be attained over a wide operating condition range and a flame height can be decreased and a high burner surface load can be realized.
