PURPOSE:To require no connecting lead wire between an element and a circuit constituting part and to facilitate an assembling operation and to attain a compact camera by attaching solid-state image pickup elements at the respective outgoing ports of a spectroscope, attaching a flexible printed board to the terminal of this element to have the circuit constituting part and storing this circuit constituting part in a case in meandering way. CONSTITUTION:The terminal (b) of the solid-state image pickup element 1 of a three plate camera for color used for a monitoring color camera or the like is inserted into the hole 2a of a base plate 2, then, the three spectroscopic surfaces 3a-3c of the spectroscope 3 have the elements 1 attached so as to oppose the surface 1a thereof thereto. The externally attached terminal 1b is inserted into the hole 4b of the attaching part 4a of the flexible board 4 and attached by a soldering. Then, bending parts 4j-4h are bent, a connector part 7 is attached to a disk 4i, and finally, the board 4 or the like is stored in the case so as to oppose the prism incident surface of the spectroscope 3 to lens groups. Then, the assembling operation is easily executed to make the three plate camera compact and light.
