PURPOSE:To avoid deterioration of data transfer efficiency by transferring the data to be transferred for each one of plural divided block sections to an arithmetic control device including the transfer section data set at an address received an access through the transfer section data set at the end of the block boundary and at the same time discontinuing the transfer of other transfer section data. CONSTITUTION:The data needed for an arithmetic control device 3 are continuously arranged from the middle of a block boundary and are obtained en bloc. Under such conditions, the data including the head one through the one set at the end of the block boundary are transferred and the transfer of subsequent data is discontinued. While no desired data is stored in a buffer memory 20 of a memory control device 2 and the necessary block data is read out of a main memory device 1. In such a case, it is inhibited to write the block data including the undesired data into the memory 20 and the data on continuous (n) blocks are stored into the buffer 20 after the transfer of data including the desired one through the one set at the end of the block boundary. As a result, the data transfer efficiency is improved.
