PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of main memory by acquiring the control area of an intra-row control table which controls a storing destination data memory area for data stored in an acquired data memory as well as the data on all cells f the rows belonging to the data stored in said data memory from the main memory in a dynamic way via an area control means. CONSTITUTION:When either one of cells on a certain row in a table displayed on a display/input device 1 produces data for the first time, a data memory area 23 having a size of a single division unit obtained when a single row of the table is divided into plural pieces is acquired from a main memory 6. Then the input data are stored in the area 23. At the same time, a single control area of an intra-row control table 21 is dynamically acquired by an area control means 5 to control a storing destination data memory area for the data to be stored in the area 23 as well as the data on all cells of the rows belonging to said data. Then the address of a control area of an acquired intra-row control table 22 is stored in the corresponding control area of the table 21. Thus the unit of acquisition of the area 23 can be minimized.
