PURPOSE:To make safety of the disposer by a method wherein a heating micro- wave is at first stopped when an explosion through garbage is detected and the remaining gas within a main body is treated and thereafter a heater and a blower are stopped. CONSTITUTION:Micro-wave from a micro-wave generating device passes through a wave guide 6a and enters a main body 6 from a supplying port 6. A catalyst 11 is heated by a catalyst heating unit 10 to activate a discharged gas purifying unit 12. Blowers 8 and 13 may perform a gas feeding and discharging operation. When carbonic hydrogen gas of combustible nature is made rich and exploded, an explosion detecting means 16 may detect it. A control means 18 may at first stop the micro-wave generating device 5, and then confirm a completion of a purifying process for the remaining gas within the main body 1; then the feeding and discharging blowers 8 and 13 and the catalyst heating heater 10 are stopped.
