PURPOSE:To improve an ignition characteristic and a flame holding feature and increase an efficiency of combustion by a method wherein liquid of low boiling point is fed into a gas-liquid mixing chamber to atomize slurry fuel. CONSTITUTION:Steam 3 acting as medium for atomization is supplied from an axial upstream side of a mixing injection hole 17 opened at a surface opposing to a furnace of an atomization tip main body 13, mixed with fuel 14 injected from a fuel supplying hole 19 of a side wall of an mixing injection hole 17 to form an injection flow. A low boiling point liquid supplying hole 18 is opened at a place near a furnace from a merging point between the mixing injection hole 17 and a fuel supplying hole 19, and the low boiling point liquid 15 is fed into mixture of the fuel 14 and the steam 3. With this arrangement, the low boiling point liquid 15 comes into instantaneously unbalanced over-heated condition in thermodynamic manner to generate a rapid flushing and the slurry fuel is forcedly atomized.
