PURPOSE:To obtain an encyclopedia by means of a rotational recording medium by dividing various information into unit offer information, folding a track with a prescribed width and closely providing recording areas at even intervals. CONSTITUTION:Various information are divided into unit information (including pictures, sound, characters and the like in a constant ratio) in which output necessary time differ, and a bit string is folded so as to generate sub track bands. The sub track band segmented in the direction of a time base longer than unit offer information and at even intervals by the time in which the output time of included information is decided to be set to plural times, and the recording areas are generated. The sub tracks are allotted to the recording areas. Since information in which time required for reproduction differ are included in unit offer information, the track is shifted to the direction of the time base for the arrangement of a record in a distributed area so that they gratify the hourly distribution of respective information. Unit offer information is recorded in the area which has been thus made. The sounds A, A... are continuously connected and continuous sound reproduction can be attained, for example, whereby the continuity of a sceen is held by seven continuous groups in a figure example. With such a constitution, the encyclopedia which can simultaneously reproduce information in which output necessary time differ can be obtained.
