Straddling tractor of the type including two front wheels 6a, 6b and one fixed rear wheel 5b, whereas the other rear wheel 5a can have its position adjusted at will both in the lateral direction and in the vertical direction, the said rear wheel 5a being carried by a substantially horizontal box-structure 18 articulated at one of its ends, front or rear, to a substantially vertical box-structure 13 carried by means allowing it to slide laterally with respect to the chassis 1 of the tractor. The lateral sliding means are raised up with respect to the chassis 1 so that an agricultural tool can be inserted under the said sliding means, next to the chassis, and thus be located between the two drive wheels 5a, 5b. <IMAGE>
