发明名称 PRODUCTION OF CYCLOOLEFIN
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the aimed compound by a simple operation and in high selectivity in producing a cycloolefin by partially hydrogenating a cyclodiene compound, by using a palladium or nickel thin film prepared by vacuum metallizing method as a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A cyclodiene compound, especially cyclopentadiene, is partially hydrogenated by the use of a palladium or nickel thin film prepared by vacuum metallizing, preferably sputtering method using glow discharge, especially a palladium or nickel thin film formed on carrier, as a catalyst to advantageously give a cycloolefin by the use of the catalyst which is readily separably from the reaction product, shown high selectivity and relatively readily prepared. In the case of the a palladium thin film, heat treatment is carried out in vacuum under evacuation at 50-500 deg.C and in the case of the nickel thin film, the heat treatment is performed in vacuum under evacuation at 0-300 deg.C to give a catalyst showing higher selectivity.
