PURPOSE:To shorten automatic hot water supply time and supply hot water at a constant temp. by installing a supply water temp. detector such as a ther mistor, etc., at a water supply passage and sensors and proportional valves for the amount of water at a hot water supply passage and at a hot water supply passage for a bath that is a branch of the said passage respectively. CONSTITUTION:A supply water temp. detector 27 is installed at the water supply passage A of a heat exchanger 3, a hot water temp. detector 11 at the hot water supply passage B of the outlet of the exchanger 3, sensors 1, 1a for the amount of water and proportional valves 12, 12a for the amount of water are installed at the passage B and a hot water supply passage B1 for a bath that is a branch of the passage B respectively and further a vacuum breaker 13 and a check valve 14 are installed at the passage B1. A controller 28 controls variably the amount of water of the valves 12, 12a on the basis of the signals from the detector 27 and the sensors 1, 1a and also controls a proportional control valve 7 on the basis of the signal from the detector 11 to adjust the amount of gas supplied to a burner 5. Thus, constantly utilizing the full capacity of a hot water supplier allow the shortening of automatic hot water supply time and hot water supply at a constant temp.
