摘要 PURPOSE:To permit exact measurement of the max. achievable temp. of an object installed in a high-pressure vessel, etc., by mounting a sintered body to a protective vessel, mounting said body on the object to be subjected to the measurement of the max. achievable temp. and observing the structure of the sintered body after the operation of a device. CONSTITUTION:The sintered body 1 prepd. by mixing, for example, prescribed % of Zn powder with Cd powder is housed in the protective vessel 2. This vessel 2 is fixed to the object to be subjected to the measurement of the max. achievable temp. and the device is operated. Then, the temp. of the sintered body 1 in the vessel 2 rises as well with an increase in the object temp. and diffusion arises at the contact surface between the Cd powder and the Zn powder. The sintered body begins to melt partly when the temp. rises to the eutectic temp. or above. The vessel 2 is removed after the operation of the device and the structure of the sintered body 1 obtd. in such a manner is observed. The ratio between the molten part and the unmolten part is measured from the result of the observation and the result thereof is contrasted with the previously formed graph indicating the relation between the ratio of the molten part and temp., by which the max. achievable temp. of this object is estimated.
