PURPOSE:To improve the stability of both smoothed and estimated data by using two types of smoothed data buffers, deciding the result of correlative processing with decision of a gate size and selecting the data on both smoothed data buffers. CONSTITUTION:The result of a correlative processing means 2 is decided by a gate size deciding means 6. When a correlation is secured via a large gate, a 2nd smoothing calculation means 3b uses directly the estimated data of an estimated data buffer 5 and buffers it to a smoothed data buffer 4b. Then the result of the means 2 is decided again by the means 6 and a switch 7a selects the smoothed data of the buffer 4b and gives it to the subsequent device in case the correlation is secured by the large gate in the previous time and not secured this time. At the same time, the means 3b uses said smoothed data to obtain the estimated data for the next correlative processing and buffers it to the buffer 5. Thus the stable correlation processing is secured continuously.
