PURPOSE:To read out data at a prescribed processing speed irrespective of a reduction ratio, by reading out only necessary data in each reduction ratio. CONSTITUTION:In the case of reduction to M/2<i> (1<=M<2<i>), data of each different position of a sample position by reduction of 1/2<i> is read out M times from a memory device 1 which can read out in parallel N=2<k> bits with respect to a data which has reduced an original data to 1/2<i>, and the read-out data is rearranged by a data rearranging circuit 3. In such a way, data can be read out at the same processing speed irrespective of a reduction ratio, and when this device is utilized for a refresh memory of a CRT display device which requires a zoom function, the zoom processing can be executed at a higher speed. |
