PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness and operability, by a method wherein a low speed drive signal is outputted to a transmission means in the ON-state of an air direction control operation switch, and a high speed drive signal is outputted thereto when an air direction control plate is driven and displaced to a specified position in the OFF state of the switch. CONSTITUTION:Before an air direction control plate is continuously driven and displaced or the position of the air direction control plate is regulated to uniformize temperature regulated air, an air direction control operation switch SW is turned ON to control a remote control device 17. In this case, a CPU 9 outputs a low speed driven signal from a drive speed control means 19 to a transmission means 18, and the air direction control plate is displaced at a low speed by means of a motor driver 10 and a motor 8. Meanwhile, when air conditioning operation, e.g. heating, is etfected without using the air direction control plate, the air direction control operation switch SW is switched OFF. When the air direction plate is driven by means of the remote control device 17, a high speed drive signal is inputted to the transmission means 18, and the air direction control plate is driven at a high speed. This constitution enables improvement of comfortableness and operability.
