PURPOSE:To obtain a current limiter circuit not activated at a momentary large output but limiting a continuous excess current by connecting a rectifier type delay circuit between a final transistor (TR) and a branching TR. CONSTITUTION:An output from a drive circuit 1 is fed to the base of the final TRs 2, 2 at the normal output, the final TRs 2, 2 are turned on and a current from a DC current source is outputted to a load 4a from its connecting point. At a large output, the excess current from the final TRs 2, 2 is rectified by rectifier diodes 5, 5 and flows to delay circuits 9, 9 and when the delay circuits 9, 9 reach a setting value, the current is given to the base of the branch TRs 4, 4, which are turned on to form a branch, through which the output from the drive circuit 1 flows. Thus, the excess current of the final TRs 2, 2 is limited and no branch by the branching TRs, 4, 4 is formed because the excess current at momentary large output is momentary. |
