This remote monitoring system for n associated premises for protection against intrusion is characterised in that it comprises, in each premises to be monitored, an intruder detection system D and a radio frequency wave transmitter/receiver apparatus ER able: - to transmit, under the action of the triggering of a positive signal by the intruder system D of the premises L in which it is situated, a coded signal, characteristic of this premises, which can be received and identified by the other n-1 associated apparatuses ER, - to receive the coded radio frequency signals possibly originating from one of the other n-1 associated apparatuses ER, to identify that of the n-1 premises L from which they originate, to produce an alarm in the premises in which it is situated, especially an audible and/or light alarm characteristic of this reception, and to display the identity of the transmitting premises in clear. <IMAGE>
