PURPOSE:To make a cylinder stroke regulable, by having a gear, a lever or the like interposed in a point of application force of a hydraulic cylinder, pressurizing it after opposing a thrust to this point of application force, and constituting the point of application force as making it into differential motion. CONSTITUTION:When a pump 2 is driven and, for example, a reciprocating side solenoid 3 is turned on and a directional selector valve is changed over to the left position, fluid pressure is fed to each reciprocating side chamber of respective cylinders 8, 29 and 7 via a circuit 5. At tis time, rack shafts 14 and 15 of an auxiliary cylinder 8 and a balancing cylinder 20 pull against each other in making a small diametral gear 17 a point of application force and come into a state of being opposed to each other. And, action of a lever making a position, where a large diametral gear 18 is engaged with a fixed rack gear, a fulcrum is brought into full play, whereby each position of these rack shafts 14 and 15 is set to an immovable state. Therefore, a thrust is produced in a driving cylinder 7 only via a round flowing circuit 16, thus a propeller shaft 15 is driven outward in a 19 direction. This outward drive is amplified via engagement between these gears 17 and 18 and the rack gear 13.
