PURPOSE:To improve the communication efficiency by informing a present operating state of a reception data storage area to a host processor and a data sender as a bit of status information. CONSTITUTION:In addition to a reception message data storage area 49, a reception message data storage area 49 and other reception message data storage area 53 of the same capacity are provided and the operating states of the two reception message data storage area 49, 53 are subjected to exclusive control. Moreover, the present operating states of the two reception message data storage areas 49, 53 are informed to the application program 6 and the message data transmitter as the status information. Thus, the other equipment is synchronized to void useless communication.
