PURPOSE:To maintain the dry degree of the fluorescent material layer of a screen sensitization and to use the screen in an excellent state for a long period by providing a water removing means to a changer for loading a photographic sensitive material and the screen for sensitization. CONSTITUTION:The changer 13 is sealed from outside and equipped with the water removing means 131 which hold the water amount in its atmosphere at a constant value, thereby holding the water amount in the changer so that the absolute humidity is <=20mg/l and/or so that the relative humidity is <=50%, preferably, so that the absolute humidity is <=15mg/l or the relative humidity is <=30%. Consequently, the dry degree of the screen is held excellently and photographic sensitivity is held high and constant, thereby reducing exposure and stabilizing photographic conditions.
