PURPOSE:To permit brazing which substantially prevents failure by applying a 2nd brazing filler metal having the brazing temp. lower than titanium solder to a corner part where a part A and part B are joined. CONSTITUTION:The spectacle frame part A consisting of pure titanium or titanium alloy and the part B consisting of the same material as the material of A or a material different therefrom are first brazed by the titanium solder and are then brazed by the 2nd brazing filler metal D having the brazing temp. lower than the brazing temp. of the titanium solder. a brittle compd. layer C by the titanium solder is reinforced by the 2nd brazing filler metal D and the curvature of the corner in the joint part is simultaneously increased to relieve the coefft. of stress concn. This effect is particularly remarkable with the titanium parts A such as a rim, pad arm where the ratio occupied by the compd. layer C generated by the titanium solder is relatively large and the sectional area is small. The failure of the parts is thereby decreased.
