PURPOSE:To enable color display by the photochromism of titanium oxide without using a noble metal or dye by using unsatd. hydrocarbon having at least one unsatd. double bond and/or alcohol having at least one hydroxyl group as an auxiliary coupler. CONSTITUTION:Unsatd. hydrocarbon such as alpha-olefin or inner olefin and/or alcohol having at least one hydroxyl group is used as an auxiliary coupler. Various colors can be developed according to the kind of the auxiliary coupler used and polychromatic display is enabled by properly combining such auxiliary couplers. A distinct color change is attained and low-cost color display is enabled. |
