PURPOSE:To reduce a pipe material cutting time by moving while revolving plural disk type cutters which are placed at the equal distance from the center axis of said pipe material and moving while revolving said cutters toward the center of the pipe material. CONSTITUTION:A doughnut shaped rotary support base 1 and a rotary base 2 having the same shape are rotatably supported by a support base 3 through the center of which a paper tube P passes, and rotated. Plural disk type cutters 6 are supported on the rotary support base 1 via swinging arms 7, at the equal distance in the radial direction. The swinging arm 7 is rotatably installed on the front face of the rotary support base 1 by means of a rotatable support pin 9 on its center part, and the cutter 6 is rotatably mounted on a support shaft 10 on one end part of the arm 7. Also, the other end of it is rotatably supported by an interlocking pin 11 which extends rearward through the long hole 12 of the rotary support base 1. The interlocking pin 11 is swung in the direction of a center line by means of a cam 14 provided on the rotary base 2 in the rear and due to the rotation of the rotary support base 1, and the cutter 6 is pressed against the paper tube P and retracted while being revolved, and this operation is repeated. Hence, the operation of the cutter is adjusted by controlling the rotation of each of the rotary support base 1 and the rotary base 2.
